Started out with Upcomers last May on a Supernova account. First experience, was a partial approved payout. Terrible start. Then, I proceed to give them a chance on some other accounts. Come to found out that you want payouts from them, make sure you force some shorts in if you want a payout, make sure not to do market orders, make sure you do not move stop loss or take profit, make sure not adjust lot size depending on market condition. All of these things I have been called out on as risky behaviors and denied or partial payouts as a results. Best part too, I buy a 100K account and they ban my account 1 hour later. If you want to learn exactly how trading does not work, try upcomers. If you wanna force risky trades to meet their "safe" rule, go for it. If you want inconsistent rules because I got approved a payout on an account with negative profit In shorts, and then denied on another account. Make sure the get a magnifying scope out and read all the fine print. This firm is not reliable and will not last. Use e8 markets or literally any other firm on the market

My experience was very good so far, i bought a couple of accounts, failed some because im kind of a new trader but already received 2 payouts on my accounts. the profit target rules for challenge phase are really low compared to other firms, but they do have a set of rules that you have to be mindfull about when going into upcomers, like you cant open and close a trade below 2 minutes of duration because its flagged as tick scalping and you can get your payouts rejected, and there are a bunch more rules that you can check in the FAQ. recommend reading the whole thing before buying

The 20% consistency rule on a funded account is also very restrictive. Trading opportunities are not the same every day — sometimes one good setup can produce most of your profit, while other days there may be nothing worth trading. A profitable trader should not be forced to structure profits around a consistency formula after already becoming funded.
So yes, **Upcomers pays**, but in my opinion the current system is built more to protect and benefit the firm than to give traders the best environment to grow and remain profitable.
If they reduce the payout fees and remove or seriously improve the 20% funded-account consistency rule, Upcomers could become a much stronger and more trader-friendly prop firm.
