EBC Markets Briefing | Euro Stoxx 50 near record peak amid tech rally

Stoxx 50 neared record highs as tech gains and strong earnings boosted sentiment. Gold, European blue chips and corporate results remained market focuses.

Europe's Stoxx 50 closed near its record high on Tuesday, driven by surging technology shares and a wave of positive corporate earnings that rejuvenated market sentiment.

On top of that sector, large European lenders and insurance firms are benefiting from rosy economic conditions: corporate loan defaults remain historically modest, and net interest margins stay resilient.

A long-term, tectonic shift in asset allocation has directly funneled global liquidity out of overvalued US markets and into European blue chips at significant discounts to their peers across the pond.

EBC financial analyst says, the Stoxx 50 remained locked in an undisputed bull market. The most effective approach is to wait for a decisive breakout above 6,516 to go long on momentum.
