Worst of any of the brokers I've ever used. Did a server migration affecting one of my accounts and changed my account from MT4 to a proprietary OctaTrader account without informing me, causing numerous ripple effects to the way I trade as well as my affiliates and others copy trading my account. Most recently, I submitted a withdrawal request of $242...$242 and was only informed that I now needed to provide documentation proving deposits 2 weeks after the request and only because I emailed to inquire why it was taking so long. Any way, I submitted the very same documents I was asked to submit months ago when I did the deposits and were accepted without issue. Now, they have some issue with them and not accepting them as proof. To date, they cannot tell me what exactly is wrong with the documents (bank statements).
A friend requested a $1000 withdrawal as a test. No request for proof of deposits or bank account ownership. Withdrawal received in 1.5hrs!!!

What do you like best about Octa?
Octa is offers three trading accounts and an interesting part is all of these accs are without swap commissions. This is what blew my mind, I thought they were just kidding, but when I traded for a few weeks in a row, holding positions for days, and weeks, I didn’t lose anything on swaps. I checked, history of trades, the only trading cost I paid for was spreads.
What would you improve about Octa?
It would be great to see absolute zero spreads on major currencies. Hahaha. Just kidding, actually they’re fine, but I cannot say the same about minor and exotic pairs, the gap between bid and ask price is really huge.

There was a time I feared missing trades. Now I fear entering bad ones much more. That switch saved my account. And that’s how I’ve managed to stay afloat on markets for more than 12 months with Octa broker. And I hope for the sake that I’m not going to deposit one more time. I want to stay consistent with just one deposit...

"pattern dection with the AI tool"
What do you like best about Octa?
Well, the most crucial aspect to me is the AI tool in the platfrom - especially the one that helps with pattern recognition. WIth this tool I see the points of breakouts more easily. It does not mean the patterns are always correct - the trick here is to use your expertise and experience, even if the pattern is good, it is not always good to ente the trade. Several times I entered trades whehre the major trendline in the market was opposite, now I dont do it - losses taught me not to do so.
What would you improve about Octa?
I think that spreads should be tighter...sometimes I dont enter trades as the bid/ask difference is not that attractive, it happens not often, but still.

Soon it will be a year for my trading here. I chose this broker based on their reviews and overall rating. Many people mentioned the AI tool in their revieews, so I was curious too. Opened a demo account first, then moved to a real one.

What do you like best about Octa?
The trading platform itself is amazing in my opinion. I’m talking about their own custom trading platform which has tradingview charts integrated alongside AI tools that really boost trading performance. One AI is responsible for spotting trading patterns in the charts, whereas the second one analyzes my trades and spots my mistakes as well as gives advice on how to improve my trading. I already been able to cut my bad habit of overleveraging thanks to it.

I would improve the spreads. They are normal, I don’t have something against them during the sessions, but those overlaps and news are killing it. Spreads instantly react and get very wide.

The broker is very popular these days, and as for the reliability they are on top as well. As far as I know they have several regulators who control them, and they also have segregated accounts so it’s fine. I’m using them for over 3 months, not too long I know, but I can feel how my trading performance got better after starting to trade with them. The AI octa vision is like a mentor who always look up for you.

What do you like best about Octa?
The Octa broker is probably one of the first to implement the AI chart feature, the way it analyzes charts is pretty precise to my amusement. When you have a basic foundation of technical analysis, you can quickly get a whole picture of what's going on in the chart with this tool. No need to draw patterns, lines and spotting key levels. The AI is doing all this job and that’s how I managed to stack a nice bundle by trading ETH and BTC.
I can’t help but mention how tight spreads they offer in the crypto market. Low trading costs, more profits!
What would you improve about Octa?
tbh, I Wwould like the support team to be more responsive, not trying to get rid of me as fast as possible, I know they have thousands of requests every day from different clients, still it’s your job to not reply to me with short answers.

I know using high leverage changes your trading capabilities, but over time I understood that we romanticize “risk” but forget it has rent to pay, in discipline, not drama. Every trade is a small lease you sign with uncertainty. Pay it on time, and you stay in business. Without their mentor Tunmise Olaoluwa, I wouldn’t get so many insights.

I has tested the deposit and withdrawal process, fortunately, there was nothing strange about it, no weird excuses, I used bank and crypto options for transferring money. Both were reliable and without serious delays.

Nothing, I’ve seen how their platform is, how good pricing model they build, and responsive customer service. When I say “nothing”, I really mean it.

Testing on a demo account their features and proprietary platform was handy, I learned how to use it and what pitfalls I should avoid next time during live trading.

“Zero commission” always hides somewhere else. Usually in spreads that suddenly gain weight. At least here, numbers match the brochure, I wasn’t charged for opening trades, and spreads remained around 0,6-0,8 pips which is quite impressive.
What would you improve about Octa?
Octatrader platform amazed me with its functionality, but I would like them to add more technical indicators for a better technical analysis. Also, maybe adding an AI that searches for the news will change everything, just my expectations.

Not gonna lie, I tested all these things on a demo account, and that’s why I’m writing this review now. I guess they passed my test and I’m going to open a real account to trade with real money.

Basically everything I like about the broker:
Conditions were suitable for day trading and swing positions, if the price didn’t hit the take profit in one day. No swaps, normal spreads.
Withdrawals come unbelievably fast. One day to complete, first time in my trading career!

I’d make stocks available on their proprietary platform and add more accounts, including zero, if I ever want try scalping
